PH Hands Over Web Portal Info to ADMM-Plus Cyber Working Group Co-Chairs
July 23, 2025 | Singapore
The Philippines, in partnership with New Zealand, formally handed over information from the previous web portal of the ADMM-Plus Experts’ Working Group on Cyber Security (EWG on CS) to its current co-chairs, Cambodia and Australia, during a meeting held on July 22, 2025, in Singapore. The turnover was also received by the ADMM Cybersecurity and Information Center of Excellence (ACICE), which now oversees the initiative’s digital infrastructure.
Atty. Odessa Rossilyz L. Magisa, Officer-in-Charge of the Office for DND Information Security, led the Philippine delegation in the ceremonial handover. She presented archived content and technical materials from the original web portal, which was developed under the Philippines and New Zealand’s joint co-chairmanship from 2017 to 2019.
The legacy web portal served as a document repository and information-sharing platform for member states of the ADMM-Plus EWG on CS. However, the platform was discontinued due to the absence of an institutional host to sustain its maintenance.
Recognizing the value of continuity and institutional memory, Cambodia and Australia—who assumed co-chair roles in 2024—requested assistance from the Philippines in retrieving materials from the defunct platform. These resources will now be integrated into a revitalized portal under development, which will be managed and maintained by ACICE to ensure long-term viability and accessibility for all ADMM-Plus cybersecurity stakeholders.
The initiative marks a renewed effort in strengthening regional cyber cooperation and trust-building among ASEAN and dialogue partners under the ADMM-Plus framework.
